What We Provide

The Chill Tent is a fully managed, pop-up wellbeing space designed

to integrate smoothly into busy events while supporting

accessibility, regulation and audience wellbeing.

The Space

  • A calm, sensory-considered bell tent environment

  • Low-stimulus design with soft lighting and neutral visuals

  • Comfortable seating and flexible layout

  • Clear visual boundaries to support a sense of safety and structure

  • Optional outdoor overflow space where appropriate

The design avoids clinical or school-style aesthetics and is suitable for children, young people and adults.

Sensory & Regulation Resources

Depending on the event and audience, the Chill Tent may include:

  • Gentle sensory tools and grounding resources

  • Quiet, optional activities

  • Space to sit, lie down or decompress without pressure

  • Clear signage and expectations to support ease of use

Resources are offered, not imposed, and visitors choose how they use the space.

Staffing & Support

  • Professionally staffed at all times

  • SEND-experienced practitioners and trained volunteers

  • Trauma-aware, calm and respectful approach

  • Staff present to welcome visitors, maintain the environment and offer gentle support where needed

This is not an unattended or self-managed space. The Chill Tent is actively overseen throughout the event.

Safeguarding & Boundaries

  • Clear safeguarding procedures in place

  • Calm management of numbers and use of the space

  • Children and young people remain the responsibility of their parent, carer or accompanying adult

  • The Chill Tent is not a childcare or supervision service

Event Integration

We work with organisers to ensure the Chill Tent:

  • Fits the tone and scale of the event

  • Does not disrupt flow, atmosphere or branding

  • Is easy to access but not intrusive

  • Supports positive audience experience across the site

Set-up, pack-down and on-site management are handled by us.

Adaptable Provision

The Chill Tent can be adapted to suit:

  • Festivals and large public events

  • Community and family events

  • School fairs and education-linked events

  • Indoor or outdoor settings

  • Different audience sizes and profiles

Capacity, layout, resources and staffing are adjusted in line with event needs.
