Workshops, Skill's & Support

Our service for young people aged 10–16 is designed to support those who are neurodivergent, living with SEND, or experiencing anxiety that creates barriers to education and social participation. At SEND the Help CIC, we focus on building confidence, independence, and life skills in a safe and supportive way. Sessions are tailored to each young person’s needs and may include social opportunities, community access, or gradual preparation for college and further education. By combining practical strategies with emotional support, our enabling service helps young people thrive, reconnect with learning, and move towards a more independent future. Our enabling can be purchased through Direct Payments, SEND funding or privately.

Parent/Professionals Workshops

At SEND the Help CIC, we run supportive group workshops for parents and carers as well as CPD training sessions for professionals working in education, health, and community services. Our parent workshops provide a relaxed space with refreshments, practical training on EHCPs, signposting to SEND law, and your rights, open Q&A discussions, and a pack of ghostwritten letter templates emailed afterwards. For professionals, our CPD workshops focus on inclusive practice, all based on SEND law, and effective strategies to support neurodivergent children and young people, helping staff build confidence and strengthen their skills. Whether you are a parent navigating the SEND system or a professional seeking development, our workshops are designed to provide knowledge, tools, and a supportive network.
